Shared my opinion in context to a post encountered on reddit for law profession!

In India, being a lawyer is seen in two very different ways.
When we look at the top lawyers — the ones who’ve built a name and earned huge respect — they are treated like absolute stars. People admire them, they get invited everywhere, and honestly, many young students feel inspired to pursue law just by seeing the kind of respect these top advocates command.

But at the same time, there’s a reality that often gets overlooked.
For every big name we hear about, there are so many lawyers out there struggling — standing outside courtrooms, waiting for cases, doing all kinds of work just to survive. And the hard truth is, in law, just working hard doesn't always mean you’ll reach the top. It's a tough journey where connections, timing, opportunities, and sometimes just being at the right place at the right time matter a lot.

So yeah, law in India has two sides: it can give you incredible respect and success, but it also tests your patience and resilience like few other professions do.
