Welcome to Kacheri Diaries (“KD”, “Platform”, “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Kacheri Diaries website, mobile applications, software, APIs, content, products, services, events, communities, and related offerings (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing, registering on, browsing, or using Kacheri Diaries in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any additional policies incorporated herein by reference.

Kacheri Diaries is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation unless specifically stated through verified and authorized legal professionals.

2. Eligibility

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:

  1. You are at least 18 years of age or have legal parental/guardian consent.

  2. You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

  3. You will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, bar council rules, professional ethics, and governmental requirements.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts found to be in violation of eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration and Verification

You agree that:

Kacheri Diaries reserves the absolute right to:

  • Reject any registration request

  • Remove or modify profiles

  • Mark accounts as verified or unverified

  • Suspend suspicious accounts

  • Conduct manual or automated verification reviews

Verification badges or professional status indicators do not constitute guarantees regarding competence, authenticity, professional ethics, or legal standing.

4. Nature of Platform Services

Kacheri Diaries acts solely as an intermediary technology platform.

We:

  • Do not guarantee legal outcomes

  • Do not guarantee the accuracy of legal advice shared by users

  • Do not create attorney-client relationships between users

  • Do not independently verify every statement, post, case reference, or legal interpretation shared on the Platform

  • Are not responsible for user-generated legal opinions, discussions, or advice

Users remain solely responsible for:

  • Their reliance on content

  • Professional conduct

  • Compliance with bar regulations

5. User Conduct and Acceptable Use Policy

Users agree not to:

  2. Upload false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, abusive, discriminatory, or unlawful content.

  3. Impersonate any individual, advocate, law firm, judge, government authority, or organization.

  4. Engage in harassment, hate speech, intimidation, threats, or abusive conduct.

  5. Share confidential client information without proper authorization.

  6. Publish privileged legal communications.

  7. Infringe intellectual property rights.

  8. Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code.

  9. Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts.

  10. Use bots, scraping tools, automation systems, or data extraction mechanisms without written authorization.

  11. Manipulate rankings, reviews, engagement metrics, or verification systems.

  12. Misuse AI-generated legal tools for unlawful activities.

  13. Use the Platform to solicit illegal services.

  14. Conduct fraudulent schemes or phishing activities.

  15. Distribute spam, unauthorized advertisements, or misleading promotional content.

  16. Use the Platform in a way that disrupts functionality or harms other users.

  17. Reverse engineer, copy, or commercially exploit the Services without authorization.

Kacheri Diaries reserves the unrestricted right to remove content or restrict access at its sole discretion.

6. Professional Ethics and Legal Compliance

Legal professionals using the Platform remain solely responsible for complying with:

  • Bar Council of India rules

  • Professional ethics requirements

  • Advertising restrictions

  • Court confidentiality obligations

  • Client privilege standards

  • Applicable laws and regulations

Kacheri Diaries does not assume responsibility for ensuring user compliance with professional rules.

Users shall indemnify the Company against claims arising from professional misconduct or ethical violations.

7. Events, Webinars, and External Programs

Kacheri Diaries may organize or facilitate:

  • Webinars

  • Legal conferences

  • Virtual events

  • Physical meetups

  • Educational sessions

  • Networking events

Participation is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk.

KD shall not be liable for:

The Company reserves rights to record, reproduce, distribute, and promote event content.

By participating in events, users consent to the use of their:

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property related to the Services, including but not limited to:

  • Algorithms

are owned by or licensed to Kacheri Diaries and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

Users may not:

  • Mirror

  • Create derivative works

without prior written consent.

“Kacheri Diaries”, associated logos, slogans, and marks are proprietary trademarks.

Unauthorized usage may result in legal action.

9. Advertisements and Sponsored Content

The Platform may display:

  • Promotions

  • Affiliate partnerships

  • Featured listings

Kacheri Diaries does not guarantee the quality, legality, accuracy, or reliability of third-party advertisements or services.

Users interacting with advertisers do so at their own risk.

KD shall not be responsible for:

  • Transactions

  • Losses

  • Misrepresentations

  • Product defects

  • Service failures
